We gave this to the two of us for Christmas. We are getting older but are seasoned travelers and want to remember the joy and excitement of visiting so many places around the world. We can also know where one of our grandsons is on an aircraft carrier. With our large family, we are able to show them places in the world that perhaps they will get the chance to see. We have planted the travel bug to let them know that traveling changes people and their views of other cultures. We love our lighted globe.
