From the day I ordered the globe I only had one intention for it.

My plan was to use the globe stand and replace the globe itself with a disco ball. It could not have went any more smoother. The simple design of the globe allowed me to easily attach the mirrored disco ball. And of course it spins! I have a few more ideas bouncing around in my head that are also globe related, I will be sure to keep Hayneedle updated.

Globe is pretty much as you would expect, but be warned, they sent me the blue ocean version rather than the tan color scheme pictured.

      We bought this for homeschool and it is of great interest to the kids. However, I was not impressed with how the globe stand wobbled and how the slices were not lined up well and the equator was not stuck on well. It is a very attractive color and design, but I think maybe with kids, we should have upgraded to a bit better quality.
