The Stapleton Blue Lapis Gemstone Globe with Stand brings the world into your home, in gorgeous color and texture. This globe features 288 semi-precious gemstones, each one representing a different country. These colorful gemstones are hand labeled and hand carved, so each globe is a completely unique one-of-a-kind work of art. The 50 states are also carved from individual, richly-hued stones. The gem-hewn continents are surrounded by oceans of beautiful deep blue lapis. Meridian lines encircling the globe are laid in 24K gold. The globe is cradled in a sturdy metal stand, finished in your choice of light gold or brushed silver.

    I flew from California to Denver to my Dad's 80th birthday. I noticed he had numerous wooden globes, but nothing like a gemstone globe. I bought my husband a small desktop one for Christmas. I ordered it while back in Denver but it arrived after I got home. My stepmother sent me pictures of it and it is absolutely the prettiest globe I have ever seen. My Dad just loves it and my step-mother says they keep moving it - trying to decide where to put it. She said it is so beautiful, they are going to have to buy all new furniture to go with it. She told me they had looked at gemstone globes before, but they were far too expensive. But yours are very reasonably priced. So I scored on getting my Dad a birthday present he loves and now I am going to have to get my husband another one for our Anniversary.
    I have told numerous people and teachers about your site. Thanks again!!!
