    I really love this 16" globe and the pleasant blue color of the oceans and political boundary colors, too. (Only Nat'l Geo is more beautiful, but costs too much for us...Read complete review

    I really love this 16" globe and the pleasant blue color of the oceans and political boundary colors, too. (Only Nat'l Geo is more beautiful, but costs too much for us).
    It is easy for all of us to read and our 4 and 5 year old grandchildren love it. We love to refer to it when reading books and learning where different foods come from.
    The problem is the base will not stay screwed into the post. We even added 3 washers to prevent it from unscrewing - which causes the globe to sway and it would eventually fall over. Any tips on this? We are packing it up to return, disappointed and frustrated with design problem.
