It is a modified version of the famous "Barrel Chair" originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1903. It features a bronze metallic ocean and land formations in rich, varied colors that clearly denote countries, regions, states, and other current political borders. It is encircled by a die-cast metal meridian, and set on a clean-lined, hardwood half-barrel stand with a medium walnut finish. A raised-relief surface clearly marks mountain ranges, while simple text and accurate denotations of thousands of place names allow for easy use. Perfect for a study, living area, or office.
