    The first one that came was missing parts and had a flaw in the edge of the globe but the replacement was perfect. It was very easy to put together and seems sturdy.

    Service and delivery comments:

    The delivery was prompt and the service in getting me a replacement for the defective first shipment was outstanding. Customer service gets kudos on this one!

    I guess you get what you pay for. I was very disappointed when the globe first arrived and needed assembled. I assumed it would be partially assembled, but that's a minor detail. I then proceeded to pull everything from the box to get to the best part: the globe. The design of the globe/map is not one solid piece. It appears to be several stickers all layered together to create the map. I imagine this is necessary since they are placed on a round surface; however, the end result is pieces that don't line up.

    I was hoping to add a classy piece to our décor, but unfortunately we are left with a novelty piece instead. I purchased this as a gift for my husband and he loves it either way, but it is best admired for afar. Your eyes fill in the gaps for the images that don't match up.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
