Description

The eight-inch Burton Silver Floating Globe is the perfect example of the next generation of globes. The brilliant metallic finish, stylish silver frame and impressive levitating technology make this Burton Silver Floating Globe a favorite. An electronically controlled magnetic system keeps the globe afloat. A built-in mini computer adjusts the magnetic field approximately 16,000 times per second to ensure perfect placement of the globe between the upper frame and lower base. When the globe is switched off, a permanent magnet holds the globe to the base until it is powered on. This unit requires an active 110V/60HZ outlet to levitate.

          I ordered this globe because I saw one in my son's office and it is always rotating. that is what makes it attractive,and why I wanted one. This one does not rotate at all. I would like to know if there is something I can to to make it rotate, if not I would like to return it for a full refund. Thank you.
